We are planning a sponsored Walk for Life to raise funds to support the work of Kilbryde Hospice. Jesus brings us hope and is our light in the darkness and we recognise these qualities in the amazing care and compassion provided by the Hospice to its patients and their families. Indeed, there are already a number of links between Westwoodhill and the Hospice; a number of church members and friends work or volunteer at the Hospice and many of us have witnessed their work in the care of friends and relatives.
On Sunday 3rd April we are planning to walk from the Hospice to the Church, hopefully arriving in time for the family service at 11am. There will also be a light lunch provided afterwards and everyone is invited. The route is being prepared and will be about 10km, there will hopefully also be a shorter route for younger members. We hope as many people as able will be able to join us. We also hope that you will see this an opportunity for fellowship and to invite friends and relatives to join in and come to church.
