Serving Jesus Christ in the heart of East Kilbride.

Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.

Hope Explored does not require a huge time commitment from guests and is one of the easiest ways to introduce someone to Christianity. The Christianity Explored series can then be run as a follow-up course for those eager to explore the Christian faith more.

Hope Explored is open to anyone to come along and ask questions or just sit and listen!

If you are interested in signing up for the Hope Explored course, please get in touch on Facebook or email [email protected]

Westwoodhill Evangelical Church

What goes on?

We start with a meal then the structure of each session is simple: a short Bible study, a couple of videos and a discussion based on the videos.

You’re welcome to stick around a bit longer to discuss any further questions you might have. You can ask any question you want, at any time during the course.

Can I pull out if I want to?

There is no pressure if you want to pull out of the course.

How much does the course cost?

Do I have to bring anything?

No, all course materials are provided.

Who will lead each night and how?

One of our Church members, they are passionate about the Bible and want to chat about Jesus. It’s an informal group discussion, not a church service: there’s no praying or singing and you won’t be asked to read out loud.

Do I have to speak in the group?

Not if you don’t want to. You are welcome to come and just sit and listen.
